AUA 2026
AUA 2026 marked Mendaera's debut on the expo floor in Washington, DC, where physicians stopped by our new booth for a hands-on test drive of the Focalist™ System. We had rich conversations with urologists exploring handheld robotics with ultrasound for the precision and confidence needed to gain access in needle-based procedures — including percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), the gold standard treatment for large kidney stones, and sacral neuromodulation (SNM), a therapy for bladder and bowel conditions. These conversations also brought meaningful reconnections with existing physician partners who continue to shape how Focalist evolves.
A highlight of the meeting was the inaugural FOCUS event, Mendaera's Focalist user event — a milestone for our team and the growing Focalist community. Physician partners came together for collaborative discussion that continues to shape how we evolve the platform, and we left energized by the insights and feedback shared.
Beyond the clinical conversations, AUA 2026 offered quality time with our team, outstanding physician partners, and the inspiring setting of our nation's capital.
About the AUA Annual Meeting
The American Urological Association Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of urological professionals in the world. AUA 2026 took place May 15–18 in Washington, DC, drawing more than 11,000 physicians and healthcare professionals from over 100 countries, with groundbreaking research, new clinical guidelines, and more than 300 technical exhibitors.
