Urology Conference
San Juan, PR
Sheraton San Juan Convention Center

The SUFU 2026 Winter Meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico, marked Mendaera’s first appearance at the conference and an opportunity to introduce the Focalist™ System to this specialized clinical community. Through live demonstrations in the exhibit hall, physicians experienced how Focalist combines handheld robotics, ultrasound and guidance software to support sacral access for lead placement during sacral neuromodulation (SNM), a therapy used to treat certain bladder and bowel disorders.

Because SUFU attendees have extensive experience with SNM, the meeting created a valuable setting for thoughtful discussions about how Focalist could integrate into existing procedural workflows. Visitors explored the system’s real-time ultrasound imaging and robotic guidance while sharing perspectives on the potential role of precision-guided procedures across physicians with varying levels of experience.

Mendaera’s first SUFU meeting represented another meaningful step in expanding awareness of Focalist among specialties that may benefit from ultrasound-guided, needle-based procedures. The strong engagement in San Juan created a foundation for continued conversations with physicians working to advance care for patients with pelvic floor disorders.
