WCET 2025

WCET 2025 in Phoenix marked Mendaera’s debut at the conference and an important milestone for Focalist™ system. The world’s first Focalist procedures were presented from the podium during a plenary session and featured in a semi-live surgical session, bringing early clinical experience with handheld robotics and ultrasound-guided kidney access for PCNL to the broader WCET community. The presentations sparked meaningful conversations about the potential of Focalist for urologic access.

Engagement continued throughout the meeting, with hands-on demonstrations at the Mendaera booth, participation in simulation (SIM) courses and an evening launch celebration that brought the community together. Urologists and endourologists had several opportunities to experience the system firsthand and discuss how handheld robotics and ultrasound could support precision and confidence in PCNL and other needle-based procedures.

WCET 2025 represented a meaningful step forward for Mendaera, from supporting the world’s first Focalist procedures to introducing the technology to a broader clinical audience. We are grateful to the physicians who joined us, shared their perspectives and helped make our first WCET such a memorable event.
